A tutor works one-to-one with your child. We treat keeping them safe as the first job, before anything about grades. This page sets out exactly how.
We do not schedule a tutor for a single lesson until their enhanced DBS check, the enhanced-level check used in the UK for people working with children, is completed and verified.
Every tutor is interviewed by us in person. We do not accept self-listed tutors from an open marketplace.
Each tutor's name, university and DBS status appears on our tutors page before they take a lesson, so you can see who is teaching your child. We do not publish a tutor until that check is complete.
Tutors never contact students privately. No personal phone numbers, no social media, no messaging off-platform.
All scheduling and messages go through us, and a parent or guardian is copied on everything.
You can ask for any lesson to be recorded, and we will share the recording with you.

Raise a concern directly with a founder; we aim to reply the same working day.
